JustSets Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

JustSets is a minimal, offline-first workout tracker. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Summary

JustSets does not require an account, does not run ads, does not use third-party analytics, and does not sell personal information. Workout data is stored locally on your device.

Information Stored by JustSets

JustSets stores the workout information you enter or import, including:

  • Exercises and muscle groups.
  • Workout names, dates, and completion status.
  • Logged sets, reps, and weight.
  • Workout templates.
  • App preferences, such as appearance and weight units.

This information is stored locally in the app’s on-device database and settings storage.

Strong CSV Imports

If you choose to import a Strong CSV export, JustSets reads the selected file on your device, previews the import, and saves the supported workout data into JustSets only after you confirm the import. The original CSV file is not uploaded by JustSets.

Purchases

JustSets Pro purchases and purchase restoration are handled through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. JustSets checks App Store purchase entitlement information to unlock Pro features. Payment processing, billing information, and App Store account information are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

Data Sharing

JustSets does not send workout data to a JustSets server. JustSets does not sell, rent, or share your workout data with advertisers or data brokers.

Because JustSets stores data on your device, your data may be included in device backups depending on your iOS and Apple account backup settings.

Network Access

JustSets is designed to work offline for core workout tracking. Network access may be used by Apple’s StoreKit services when loading products, making purchases, restoring purchases, or checking purchase entitlements.

Permissions

The current version of JustSets does not request access to HealthKit, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, Bluetooth, or motion sensors. File access is used only when you choose a CSV file to import.

Deleting Data

You can delete your local JustSets data from within the app by using the clear data option in Settings. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

This policy should be updated when JustSets changes how it collects, stores, uses, shares, or transmits data, or when new permissions, third-party services, analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, or account features are added.
